Three members of the Eastern New Mexico University baseball squad — senior designated hitter Peter Creamer, senior outfielder Luis Quinones of Las Cruces and junior infielder Colton Sims of Reno, Nev. — were chosen to the ABCA/Rawlings All-South Central Region team on Tuesday.
Creamer, who led the Lone Star Conference in hitting at .422, earned his fourth postseason honor, including first-team All-LSC and third-team Daktronics All-America team.
Quinones and Sims were both first-team All-LSC and second-team Daktronics South Central Region choices. Quinones batted .374 this season and finished his career third on the school's all-time hit list with 224, while Sims hit .388 with 59 hits.
The only other time the Greyhounds had players chosen to the ABCA/Rawlings squad was 2009, when Seth Clabaugh and Jereme Johnson were named to the second team.
