God's goodness unequaled

America has given us so many blessings we can hardly count them.

Aren’t you glad you were born? Can you contain the joy of knowing God planned your birth? He has a special plan for your life. Had I never been born, I would not have I known or appreciate God’s provision of healing. (Psalm 139:14, NIV). “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful. I know that full well.”

I am overcome with amazement at the creativity of an awesome God. Inside a body are organs, tissue and muscles that work together for a lifetime. Our hearts beat and lungs breathe for decades. God’s goodness cannot be equaled.

If I had never been born I would never have experienced the love of my husband and my three wonderful sons. “And you will joyfully give thanks to the Father who has made you able to have a share in all that he has prepared for his people in the kingdom of light (Colossians 1:12, NCV).” God makes life precious. Had I not been born I would never have heard a mocking bird’s song or the crunch of snow under my feet.

God With faith we believe in the ultimate goodness of life. With faith we forge straight ahead and see possibilities in impossible situations. With faith, we never give up, but reach up.

Faith has been bought with love and sacrifice to live in the greatest land on earth and Jesus bought it with love and sacrifice.

Being content with what one has avoids many pitfalls and traps. Remember what God has done for you in the past. You will find he has done exceedingly and abundantly of all we could ask for or think of. He is the same God of the present and the future. God’s faithfulness remains.

So I was born! Of all the millions and millions of people who have lived, God chose you and me. He has a plan, a purpose for our lives. “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called to his purpose” (Romans 8:28, NIV).

Life is all around me, I can only say, “Yes!” I would do it all again because God sent Jesus to save you and me.

“So blessings, I will be happy to say,

I’ll count my blessings every day.

I’ll be grateful for goodness I see.

Count your blessings and you will be!”
