Children: 1 (8 months)
Special circumstance: This family needed help this year because the family had to move to Clovis is order to take of a sick family member. Because of the added responsibilities of care giving, the mother has not been able to get a job.
Needs: Baby clothes, musical toys, diapers.
Who’s helped: More than 220 families who’ve asked the Salvation Army to help make Christmas special.
Donations: Can be dropped off at the PNT, 101 E. 1st St., or mailed to P.O. Box 848, Portales, NM, 88130. Envelopes should be clearly marked “Empty Stocking Fund.” Checks must be payable to The Salvation Army.
Contributions will be forwarded to the Salvation Army office, 317 E. Second St., Clovis, or gifts may be purchased for specific children under 12 years old by choosing an Angel tag off trees located at North Plains Mall, St. Clair Orthodontics and Hastings in Clovis.
