TONY BULLOCKS: Clovis Media Inc. ENMU freshman Cailin Garmon drops down a bunt in the fifth inning of the opener of Saturday’s Lone Star Conference softball doublehader against Texas Woman’s at Zia Softball Field. Garmon, bunting for a hit, was thrown out on the play at first base. The Zias dropped both ends of the twin bill to the Pioneers 11-9 and 12-7.

Eastern New Mexico University’s softball team certainly had enough offense in Saturday’s Lone Star Conference doubleheader against Texas Woman’s at Zia Softball Field.
Keeping the Pioneers off the board, though, was another matter.
