Serving Clovis, Portales and the Surrounding Communities
So what do you want to know?
Malinda Montgomery will find an answer.
Montgomery, a Clovis native and one of our newspapers’ copy editors, will next week begin a new periodic feature in which she answers readers’ questions on local topics.
Some of the questions may be trivial:
• How many No. 1 records came out of Norman Petty’s studio?
Some may prevent you from receiving a citation from the city:
• Can I keep a horse in my back yard?
Some may simply satisfy your curiosity:
• How much money do we pay the school superintendent?
One question we hear repeatedly at the newspaper involves the lack of stop or yield signs at intersections in some Clovis residential neighborhoods.
That’s one of the first questions Montgomery will try to answer.
So what else do you want to know about Clovis, our region or our state?

She will begin providing answers next week. Look for the feature periodically and ask her what you want to know.
