Meetings watch: Curry County Commission

Curry County Commissioners have 11 items on the action agenda to consider for a vote when they meet 9 a.m. today at the Clovis-Carver library’s north annex.

The agenda:

• Appointment of a county representative and alternate to the regional water planning committee.

• A resolution in support of amendments to a dairy rule.

• A request to approve audit procedures for the county Events Center and fairgrounds.

• A request to approve a contract with Correctional Health Companies to provide inmate health care at the jail.

• A request for action on a lease agreement with Cannon Air Force Base.

• A request to approve SDV Construction as the construction manager of the 417 Gidding Street building remodel.

• A resolution to approve an $8,100 budget adjustment for Imagination Library.

• A resolution supporting application for a $300,000 water conveyance grant.

• A request to approve and transfer money to pay for improvements in the Brady Street entrance to the Events Center and fairgrounds.

• Action proposed for an Event Center concert in the first quarter of 2015.
