Floyd
At a family reunion during the night, the kids were up telling horror stories.
One cousin came up and he started off saying, “There was a man named Steve.”
Steve was an ordinary man who had an office job and he lived in a small apartment.
When Steve went to sleep, he woke up by hearing knocking sounds. He looked through the slot and saw police officers. He opened the door and asked the police officers what was the problem.
The officer replied. “ Did you hear anything strange tonight?”
Steve replied, “No, why do you ask?”
The officer replied, “There was a woman murdered in apartment 2A.”
Steve asked the police officer, “How did she go?”
The officer told Steve it was a very gruesome murder. The woman’s face was cut off and she had stab marks in her upper chest area.
Steve felt sick to his stomach and became very scared. The officer told Steve to keep an eye out for anything strange and unusual.
The next day, Steve went to work and was having a flashback of himself murdering the dead woman in apartment 2A. Horrified by what he had seen in his mind, he rushed home quickly. He lay down in his bed and fell asleep. He woke up hours later and looked around. He was not in his house.
He looked down and his shirt was drenched in blood. He slowly and frightfully looked to his right. He saw the body of his neighbor. Then at that moment, he realized he had killed both his neighbors.
He thought back to the lady last night. He could not figure out how he got into her apartment. He could not remember anything. He started trembling with fear and started to cry silently.
He knew he was the brutal murderer, but could not understand how and why.
Before he could get out, the police stormed his apartment building. They broke down the apartment door and he was rushed by the police officers.
Steve was screaming, “I do not know how, I do not know why. I do not remember. Please help me.”
Two week’s later, Steve was executed. Due to the gruesome murders he had a speedy trial and was executed by the firing squad.
He was shot by one bullet at a time. The first was fired into his knee. The second bullet was shot into his hip. Finally, they shot two bullets into his lungs and left the cold, dark room.
Steve was not dead, but was slowly suffocating on his own blood that was collecting in his lungs.
An hour later, when they came back, Steve was dead. In his own blood he had written: “I’ll be back.”
