Curry County commissioners meet at 1:30 p.m. today in the Clovis-Carver Public Library’s north annex to consider voting on 10 items:
• A request by Commissioner Wendell Bostwick to explore ways of appointing an alternate to serve on the Eastern New Mexico Rural Water Authority board.
• A request from Sheriff Matt Murray to purchase upgrades for the emergency dispatch system.
• A presentation and request for action on an initial assessment for renovation at the Gidding Street building.
• A request for direction on the design phase of the Gidding Street building.
• Discussion and request for action on demolition at the Gidding Street building.
• A request to approve the county paying 100 percent versus 75 percent of life insurance premiums for county employees.
• A request for a budget adjustment of $5,086 for the Foster Grandparent program.
• A request for a budget adjustment of $4,381 for the Retired Senior Volunteer program.
• A request to approve a contract with Stephens Construction & Ready Mix for hauling and delivery of caliche.
• A request to award a contract to K. Barnett and Sons for bids submitted to provide road construction materials.
