The following took place at the Roosevelt County Commission meeting Wednesday morning at the L.C. Cozzens Administrative Offices:
• Commissioners heard a report from Roosevelt County Detention Center Administrator David Casanova. The center has 58 inmates, with 50 of them being males.
• Commissioners heard a report from Road Superintendent Ricky Lovato. Lovato said the county’s road department is finishing work on South Roosevelt Road 4.
• Commissioners voted to approve resolution 2015-17 specifying the salaries of elected officials in Roosevelt County. The resolution clarifies the salaries for elected officials in Roosevelt County.
• Commissioners voted to approve resolution 2015-18 amending the Roosevelt County pay plan. The resolution outlines the salary range for the newly added Corrections Officer position. The salary range is $27,528 to $41,292.
• Commissioners voted to approve resolution 2015-19 amending the Roosevelt County pay plan. The resolution outlines the salary range for the newly added Finance Specialist position. The salary range is $28,922 to $43,382.
• Commissioners toured the RCDC facility.
