Church to host music

A nine-member music ensemble called “Light” from California Baptist Church will perform 7 p.m. Monday at The Bridge located at Central Baptist Church.

“California Baptist University has one of the finest music programs in the country,” said Worship Pastor Damon Pearce in a press release. “These students are a part of a dozen or more ensembles of all sizes that spend the summer singing in churches across the country. We are excited to host them here in Clovis.”

The students will perform traditional anthems and contemporary worship songs.

There is no charge to attend the concert, but an offering will be taken for the university and the Collinsworth School of Music.
