Serving Clovis, Portales and the Surrounding Communities
The district manager of Clovis’ water provider resigned Wednesday, five days after being arrested and charged with driving under the influence.
Rebecca Stenholm, public and government affairs spokesperson for EPCOR Water, confirmed Brian Daly’s resignation and said Mark Huerta would be the interim district manager “to ensure customer care.”
“Mark is a longtime member of our Clovis team,” Stenholm said. “He has a deep understanding of our Clovis operation and will be working with Daniel Bailet, our general manager in New Mexico, along with the district manager of our Edgewood operation to keep the focus on delivering the same commitment to excellence we strive for every day.”
Stenholm declined further comment on Daly’s resignation, saying that EPCOR Water wishes to respect his privacy.
Daly did not return phone calls seeking comment.
Stenholm said EPCOR employs 34 people at its Clovis and Edgewood locations.
EPCOR is the largest private regulated water provider in Arizona and New Mexico, serving 22 communities and seven counties, according to its website.
