• The Clovis police and fire departments were dispatched to the 100 block of Adkins Court in reference to a theft and an injury to a resident. The ambulance crew attended to a 19-year-old who injured his leg trying to recover stolen property from a vehicle. He was transported to Plains Regional Medical Center, then transferred to a Lubbock facility.

• People in the home told police they were watching television when they noticed a car that was parked across the street pulled into their driveway. They said a male exited the vehicle, ran into the open garage and took a set of golf clubs.

• The 19-year-old confronted the suspect, who had re-entered the vehicle. The suspect backed out of the driveway, injuring the 19-year-old in the process. The identity of the victim and severity of the injuries were not disclosed, but officers on the scene Thursday indicated there were no life-threatening injuries.

• Acting on a tip later that night to dispatch, officers responded to a residence on the 2200 block of Chaparral Avenue where the vehicle in question was reportedly located. Officers located Wilson, who gave a detective consent to search the vehicle. The search revealed damage to the driver’s door, and the detective recovered a set of golf clubs.

There was no listed number for Wilson, and it was not immediately known if he had an attorney.
