Fashion designer Orlando Dugi is going to show how to do hand beading on a variety of women’s evening wear and accessories. His business is Orlando Dugi Fashions and he’s from Santa Fe.
Janet Stahl is with Butterball in Chicago, Illinois, and she’s going to talk about new turkey breakfast options, quick and easy morning recipes and demonstrate how to make breakfast fun with and for the kids.
Casey Schwartz is a floral designer and co-owner of Flower Duet in Redondo Beach, California. Schwartz is going to show how to make a tussie-mussie or what is sometimes referred to as Victorian posies. Victorians believed flowers had special meanings, so the idea is to select flowers to convey your special message to someone.
Information on using stabilizers, protecting outdoor furniture, and dealing with difficult people will be the featured topics on “Creative Living” on Tuesday at noon and on Saturday at 2 p.m. (All times are Mountain.)
Patsy Shields represents RNK Distributing and Floriani Stabilizers, and she will show how to use stabilizers and a soldering iron or stencil burner to create dimensional embroidery. She lives in Sellersburg, Indiana.
Bruce Johnson is going to show how to make your backyard living space your own private retreat. He'll demonstrate how to protect the life of outdoor furniture and how to make a weathered deck look like new again. Johnson is the spokesperson for Minwax, which is located in Upper Saddle River, New Jersey.
Ruth St. Pierre, whose company is Creative Business Resources, says we can "become a CPA" and learn to deal with difficult people, and she'll explain what she means by that. St. Pierre is from Pleasant Valley, Missouri.
Turkey Sausage Breakfast Taco
• 1 6-inch flour tortilla
• 2 Butterball® Fully Cooked Breakfast Sausage Patties
• 1 egg
• 1 Tbsp. shredded Cheddar cheese
• 1 Tbsp. salsa, optional
Place tortilla on a microwave-safe plate and cover with plastic wrap. Set aside. Warm the sausages in microwave according to package directions. Crumble or cut into pieces, if desired. Scramble the egg over medium heat and season to taste. Heat the tortilla in microwave 5 to 8 seconds. Place sausage in center of warm tortilla and top with scrambled egg, cheese and salsa. Roll and serve. Yields 1 serving.
