Party planner Patty Waid is going to show how the food you serve and the environment you create will guarantee the party or event will be a success. She’ll explain how she makes a design plan for every event. Her business is Waid and Associates in Albuquerque.
Crafter and designer Marisa Pawelko will show how to make duct tape pouches using nonstick cutting tools and rolls and sheets of duct tape. These pouches can be made in various sizes, colors and patterns and can be easily embellished, too. Her company is Modern Surrealist and she lives in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.
Information on recipes for holiday entertaining, using a Klic-N-Cut machine, and working with prairie points will be the featured topics on “Creative Living” on Tuesday at noon and on Saturday at 2 p.m. (All times are Mountain.)
Christine Palumbo, Honeysuckle White and Shadybrook Farms, is going to demonstrate some recipes that can add a new twist to traditional holiday entertaining — or for anytime you want to spice up your mealtime. She lives in Naperville, Illinois.
Sandy McCauley will show how to use a Klic-N-Cut machine, which is great if you are into scrapbooking or card making, or even if you just enjoy doing crafts of any kind. The company is Accugraphics Sales, and she’s from Tempe, Arizona.
Evelyn Terhune, former owner of Ozark Crafts, will show how traditional prairie points, which are a long time favorite of quilters, take on a new look with contrasting fabric and decorative stitching. Terhune lived in Gilbert, Arkansas.
