Serving Clovis, Portales and the Surrounding Communities
If you follow fashion, you probably already know that Paris fashion week was overshadowed by the Kim Kardashian robbery. I can’t imagine how scary it must have been to be showing off your fashions and accessories on social media during the day to having your life at risk and your most prized possessions taken by night.

But I don’t think this will be slowing Mrs. Kardashian West down. She makes it her duty to show us her spin on runway fashion.
What’s her look? She takes me back to a 1970s Cher, with her hair long sleek hair parted down the middle and dark, shiny tan. She wore bold, showy outfits under long coats. The countdown is on to see what her next look on Instagram style pic will be.
So, what else did you miss closing out Paris Fashion Week behind the celebrity distractions? The rundown on a few accessories for spring 2017 is subversive handbags, shoulder-grazing earrings and bejeweled Crocs. Yes, there were Crocs on the runways by designer Christopher Kane. Now you have seen it all. Every shoe you can think of is fair game. In other words, no shoe is off limits in 2017.
Of course, all of us regular folks are still gearing up and are half prepared for fall and winter 2016, but the fashion world is always going to be one step ahead of us, putting a stamp on what to look for in the coming year.
Some more noticeable fan favorites photographed at the week's shows were baggy pants, oversized jackets, big pull-over hoodies and platform shoes. I can't forget the Kool-Aid colored hair or hair parted down the middle.
But the one look that's continuing for spring is your high school jeans. Because no matter if you're the class of 1970, 80, 90 or 2000, you’re cleared to make your fashion rewind and still keep your look current.
