I'm not a big sports fan but it has always been very intriguing to me to watch the games in person. I find it to be a lot more fun and interesting when there are other people to celebrate with and all the excitement is happening around you.
But this column is reserved for style and fashion, so you should know what I think the best part of going to the games is going to be. Yes, fashion.

Going to watch your favorite team play is great, but picking out your outfit is just as fun. At the games, you'll see team colors and painted faces and people dancing to the music to celebrate when their team scores, which makes it more interesting to pick an outfit for.
How do you decide what to wear? First, if you’re like me, getting geared up for her first professional game, you check out who’s going to be in the crowd. No one likes to be the one who didn’t get the memo on what to wear, so you have to do your homework. You want to be true to your own fashion sense but remember to keep it simple. You don't want to stick out like a sore thumb.
Represent your team no matter what. Whether you decide to wear team colors or a jersey, you definitely want to show who’s side you're on. The most loyal fans will appreciate you for it.
Ladies should go big with their hair and curl it up. Wear fun make-up and big earrings or a fun hat. Going to a game is a celebration, so why should you be shy about your fashion? Wear your best stylish distressed jeans with fall boots or your favorite team colored sneakers.
Always check the weather. Even though the country has experienced some unpredictable forecasts, you have to be prepared for whatever could happen. If you’re traveling to see your team play, pack more than one outfit for rain or shine. This should be your written rule when traveling no matter what the occasion is.
If you're supporting your team as a couple or in a group, all of you should have some idea of what the others are wearing and there's nothing wrong with going as twinsies.
