Tell us how you met your spouse: Bill and I were set up by my coworker that was also a neighbor of Bill's. Our first date was coffee at Cotton Patch, because he wasn't sure he was going to like me and he didn't want to spend very much, if I wasn't a keeper. Now he refers to me as the love of his life.

When you were a kid, what did you think you'd be doing as an adult? When I was a very young child I wanted to be like my grandmother and have nine kids and cook all the time.

What's your favorite smell? My favorite smell is eucalyptus and cedar because it reminds me of my favorite place, Tamaya Resort and Spa.

What is your theme song? My friend's say it's "Help Me Rhonda", which they say a lot ... sort of like a broken record.

Tell us about your pets? My favorite pet story is when I had just gotten on to my grandson for rolling his eyes at me, then I proceeded to tell Bart (the dog) to go outside and my grandson starts jumping up and down, saying, "Grammy, Grammy Bart just rolled his eyes at you!"

The other favorite pet story is when I had to rescue Bart and the Labrador Retriever from the swimming pool because she couldn't swim, I had to jump in with clothes and everything because she just sunk.

What is the best gift you've given? My best gift is serving others. Especially the opportunities that I've had to serve the Air Commando's and their families here at Cannon. Serving those who serve us!

I'm very fortunate to be involved with Cannon Air Force Base as C50 Chairman and Honorary Commander of the Wing. This has allowed me to learn about the mission in-depth and appreciate the sacrifices that our military members and their families make on a daily basis. I was thrilled to get to help ACES plan and execute their first annual Masquerade Gala.

Share your most memorable event this year? Two of the most memorable events this past year included a flight in a Blackhawk helicopter during the ESGR Boss Lift and a Flight with Pecos Bill's WW2 — P51 Mustang during the Air Show.
