Cats take on Dumas

CLOVIS — Coming off a more-competitive-than-the-score looks 100-74 loss at defending Class 6A state champion Rio Rancho in Saturday’s season opener, the Clovis High boys basketball team plays it home lidlifter against Dumas in a 6:30 p.m. tipoff at The Rock.

The Class 5A Demons won their only road outing so far, beating Dalhart 73-55 in their opener, before losing twice at home.
