RIO RANCHO — After getting off the schneid on Tuesday, Clovis High’s boys hope to put together a mini-winning streak tonight when they visit Rio Rancho for the second time already this season, this time facing the Cleveland Storm in a 6:30 p.m. tipoff.
The Wildcats (1-1) opened their season with a 100-74 loss at Rio Rancho before beating Dumas 58-37 at home on Tuesday.
Junior guard Jakeem Wynn leads the Cats so far with a 25.5 scoring average and seven steals. The Storm (2-0), who played their home opener against Carlsbad on Friday night, have three players averaging in double figures, led by senior guard Marcus Hill (13.5 ppg).
Cleveland has wins at Alamogordo (68-53) and at La Cueva (62-51).
