November city permits

A look at permits filed in the city of Clovis in November, according to city records:

• 9 — New residential permits filed in November, bringing the total to 40 for the year. It is the highest monthly total of 2016, topping April (seven).

• 1,788 — Average square footage of each of the new residences.

• 8 — Roofing permits for November, half the total in October. The permits were filed by six different applicants.

• 128 — Total roofing permits for 2016.

• $1,722 — Most expensive permit fee, charged in two different permits. One is for a hangar on Curry Road 11.5, and the other is for the remodel of the former Hastings Entertainment into Harbor Freight Tools.

• $24 — Cheapest permit fee with an actual cost, occurring on a pitched shingle roofing job on the 1200 block of Rencher Street.

• 38 — Total permits in November.

• 450 — Total permits for 2016.

• $14,655 — Permit fees for November.

• $190,692 — Permit fees for 2016.
