The New Mexico Children, Youth and Families Department is asking for clothing and food donations this month for children in foster homes as part of its “Pull Together” initiative.
A CYFD press release requested that residents drop off new, unused toys and gifts to their local CYFD and Motor Vehicle Department offices from now through Dec. 21 for children ages 0 to 18.

• The Clovis MVD is located at 900 West 6th Street and can be reached at 575-762-3732
In addition, CYFD and MVD offices are accepting non-perishable food donations:
• Canned foods
• Salad dressing
• Gravy packets
• Boxes of stuffing
• Boxes of mashed potatoes
