Resurfacing work to be finished in January

CLOVIS — Road work on U.S. Highway 60/84 from Main Street to MLK Boulevard is expected to complete in January.

Crews are resurfacing two miles of the road for the $953,000 project, according to Manon Arnett, public information officer of district two of the New Mexico Department of Transportation.

The eastbound lane is currently being resurfaced.

“Motorists can expect lane closures under flag control throughout the project,” said Arnett. “Motorists are asked to watch for construction personnel while work is taking place.”
