Clovis Schools posts football job opening

Clovis Municipal Schools is advertising on its website for the vacant head football coach's job at the high school.

Eric Roanhaus resigned last month, following 39 years as head coach.

The application process is listed as open until filled, with a stipend of $13,975 annually.

Requirements include helping “each participating student achieve a high level of skill, an appreciation for the values of disciplines, team work, and sportsmanship, and an increased level of self-esteem,” enforcing “discipline and sportsmanship behavior at all times” and limiting time athletes will be out of school.
