One killed in rollover

CLOVIS — One person was killed and three injured Wednesday afternoon in a one-car rollover in Curry County, according to a release from the Curry County Sheriff's Office.

Cameron Hill, 36, of Clovis, was killed in the crash near the intersection of County roads F and 6, according to the release. His 2007 Buick Rendezvous was traveling west on Curry Road 6 when Hill lost control. He was not wearing his seatbelt.

A preliminary investigation indicates excessive speed was a contributing factor.

His passengers in the 2007 Buick Rendezvous were Maria Fernandez, 38, Destinee Kelly, 20, and Robert Sorbonne, 27, all of Clovis. They were all taken to Plains Regional Medical Center for injuries. There was no further information on their conditions.
