County manager elected to representative position with agency

Curry County Manager Lance Pyle was elected Tuesday to serve as District 2 representative for the New Mexico County Insurance Agency Multi-Line Pool board, according to a release from the county.

Pyle’s one-year term places him as a representative for Curry, Quay, Guadalupe, San Miguel, Harding, Mora, Union and Colfax counties.

The seat was held previously by former Curry County Commissioner Wendell Bostwick.

“I am honored to serve and represent the counties,” said Pyle, who also chairs the NMCIA’s workers compensation pool board. “I look forward to working with the counties and the board in managing risk and the cost of risk.”
