Cass picked for Hansen regioal team

PORTALES — Eastern New Mexico University junior running back Kamal Cass gained another postseason accolade Wednesday, as he was named to the 2016 Don Hansen All-Super Region Four Team.

Cass, who was also named a Division II All-American, led the Lone Star Conference in rushing for the second-straight season. This season, he ran for 1,191 yards and 14 touchdowns. He reached his career high of 232 yards in the Greyhounds’ home opener against Western New Mexico, and also returned six kickoffs for 86 yards on the season.
