The Curry County Commission is scheduled to hold a special meeting at 9 a.m. today at the Curry County Courthouse on 700 North Main Street.
Key items on the agenda include discussion and action on items for the Curry County Adult Detention Center addition and renovation project.
Items include rehabilitating or replacing the center's generator, additional options for the bid lots of the design development phase and action regarding the center's HVAC unit.
Other agenda items include:
• Discussion and approval request for budget adjustments for the Pleasant Hill Volunteer Fire Department budget.
The budget adjustment is to accommodate loan payments to Curry County for a fire truck.
• Discussion and acceptance request of final recommendations for audio and visual equipment to be used in the Commission Room at 417 Gidding Street, as well as start of contract negotiations for Digital Video Networks.
• Discussion and action on parliamentary procedure rules.
• County Manager Lance Pyle's report will include reports on a privacy fence for the Oasis Children's Advocacy Center and information on the 2017 Law Enforcement and Multi-Line Insurance Contributions and Deductibles.
