PORTALES — The Eastern New Mexico University women’s basketball team won a pair of close home games last week and moved up one spot to second in the most recent NCAA Division II South Central Region poll.
The Greyhounds (18-5, 14-2 Lone Star Conference) overhauled Angelo State after the Rambelles dropped a pair of LSC road games last week. ASU is now third in the poll.
Colorado State-Pueblo (24-1) remained atop the rankings despite dropping its first game of the season, an 85-81 decision at Westminster (Utah).
ENMU has road outings this week at Midwestern State on Thursday and at Cameron on Saturday.
