Of note: This is a rematch of a first-round game from last season. The Wolverines beat the Cougars 73-61 en route to winning the 3A state championship as guards Dalton Thatcher and Braden Fraze each had three 3-pointers and 16 points. Texico went on to beat Tucumcari in the 3A finals 77-52.

The Foxes’ only other setback came in early December to Dexter in a tournament at Melrose.

He’s also blocking 2 1/2 shots per contest.
