Ribbon to be cut on new offices

CLOVIS — The city of Clovis will hold a ribbon cutting 2 p.m. Friday at its 1221 Mitchell Street property.

The remodeled building will house the city’s building safety, planning and zoning and code enforcement offices, plus provide areas for city safety and training programs.

“I am satisfied that the designated utilization of this facility will provide for the needs of the city of Clovis in these areas as we move forward,” City Manager Larry Fry said in a release.
