Arby’s remodel to finish in six to seven weeks
A franchisee for Clovis’ Arby’s franchise expects the location to be finished with its remodel in six to seven weeks.
Gary Chaves, senior vice president of the MJG Corporation, said the remodel of the business, located on North Prince Street, will include a new exterior, landscaping and signage, along with new customer seating and kitchen equipment on the inside.
MJG is the franchisee of Arby’s of New Mexico, which includes 21 locations throughout the state. Chaves said the Clovis and Roswell locations are the third and fourth New Mexico stores to receive renovations, following locations in Raton and Las Vegas.
The restaurant was closed following business Feb. 19. Chaves said every employee of the Clovis restaurant was offered interim employment at another location. When the Clovis renovation is complete, he expects there to be 25 to 30 associated jobs.
