Wide-leg jeans back in style

The season's latest styles in jeans wear offer up some whimsical designs. The "it" distressed denim is quite an assortment for 2017.

First up are denim accessories. You will find a new selection of denim handbags, purses and shoes. This includes denim with fun patchwork and embroidery that adds a little character. For example, pay homage to a throwback denim with a chain-strapped purse with fun emojis and rainbow-colored patchwork. You may also want to have fun with this trend and customize your own denim with iron-on patches.

Next up is distressed denim. The new distressed denim deviates from the typical fade and worn out knees. Distressed is now destroyed. You've seen them shredded with holes and frayed edgings.

Wide-leg jeans are also big trend in denim bottoms this season.

Denim is the most exciting fabric in fashion right now with the unconventional cuts of jeans. There's just so much creativity that our modern labels are sampling right now. There are the high-rise stretchy legging-like fits that are complimentary with a variety of cropped shirts. The high demand for vintage Levi welcomes the skimming through consignments for the latest bargain — that's if you’re confident enough to sport something used.

Slim cuts will never go out of style, but 2017 is all about the wider hems. And when they’re cropped, they're even better. No matter the design or fit, you've got to pair them with a great shoe.
