Rep. Crowder to discuss session
The Clovis/Curry County Chamber of Commerce will host its second annual “Chowder With Crowder” event 11:30 a.m. April 18 in the chamber’s board room.
Rep. Randy Crowder, R-Clovis, will be on hand to deliver details on this year’s state legislative session. Those who attend will be treated to a bowl of chowder.
The event is sponsored by the chamber and the Clovis Industrial Development Corporation.

Roosevelt officials to work on budget
The Roosevelt County Commission will hold a trio of budget workshops over the next few weeks.
Meetings will include county administration, elected officials and department heads discussing preliminary budget proposals.
The workshops will be held 9 a.m. April 26, April 28 and May 3 in the Commission Room of the Roosevelt County Courthouse.
