CLOVIS — A community farewell event will be held for Col. Ben Maitre 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Clovis/Curry County Chamber of Commerce.
The event for the 27th Special Operations Wing commander will be held at the Norman & Vi Petty Rock and Roll Museum at 115 E. Grand.
Those planning to attend are asked to RSVP to the chamber of commerce at 575-763-3435.
Maitre has been the wing commander since March 2015.
