Clovis and Portales will begin play with a single game on Friday in a best-of-three series in the opening round. Game two will be played Saturday, with a third game played immediately after if necessary.
Texico will host No. 16 Loving (3-15) in a 5 p.m. Wednesday game to open the single-elimination bracket. The winner would face either Pecos or Tularosa May 10 at Cleveland High School in Rio Rancho.
