CPD to conduct checkpoints

CLOVIS — The Clovis Police Department will conduct sobriety checkpoints within city limits May 20 and 26, according to a CPD release.

Officers at the checkpoint will specifically target drunk and drug-impaired drivers, but note, they will also check for seatbelt usage as part of the ongoing Operation Buckle Down campaign.
