Men sampling romper fashion

By now, the majority of you pop-culture-savvy people have already formed an opinion about the latest men's fashion trend, the male romper. For those of you who don’t know, it’s the one-piece button-up revamp from the fashion vaults that are popular in women's fashion. They may even remind you of a toddler onesie.

Well, I guess the men don’t want to be left out because the trend has taken off. I wasn't sure how this whole thing started, so I did my research.

First of all, it’s not a joke, it’s for real. Men can purchase similar items online on sites like eBay. Pretty soon you may be seeing them on the sales racks.

From experience, the most frustrating detail about wearing a romper, I think, is having to completely undress just to go to the bathroom. But for men, the new design has been equipped with a zipper fly.

The company behind all the fuss is called ACED Design, who designed the RompHim, that launched on Kickstarter.com. It's equipped with an adjustable waist, zippered back pocket and shirt pocket.

Reportedly, from all the media buzz and men posting their best romper fashion on social, the sales have been going through the roof, according to Metro.co.uk. These pastel colors and splatter paint prints have been the subject of funny memes for weeks and people can't get enough.

ACED sold out their first run in one week so they'll be having the last laugh. The project exceeded its goal of $10,000 and will continue to be funded until June 13. In the competitive market of men's fashion, we will see how long the RompHim trend will stand the test of time.

The RompHim also has a style specifically designed for the Independence Day holiday.
