Officials seek input on projects
CLOVIS — Curry County invites residents to provide input on projects and purchases to include in the county’s Infrastructure and Capital Improvement Plan, according to a press release.
ICIP projects can include “repair or replacement of existing infrastructure and development of new infrastructure,” as well as “cultural facilities, design, equipment, renovation, and streets/roads.”
The public meeting is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. Aug. 3 in the county commission chambers at 417 Gidding Street.

Road crews chip sealing in county
CLOVIS — The Curry County Road Department has scheduled chip seal road work for Curry Road V from US 60/84 to Curry Road 15, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday.
The road will not be closed during that time, but county officials ask motorists to seek alternate routes and minimize usage of the road during work hours and for 3-4 hours after oil is applied.
