It's officially time to focus on your fall fashion. Fortunately, you’re in the transition stages of your wardrobe as far as the weather is concerned so you don’t necessarily have to put your summer pieces away. This fall, save the shoppping splurges. Instead, remix some of your favorite style pieces from last year and years before that you may not have gotten a chance to wear.
For example, there are a few classics that you will want to bring forward that will always be timeless and on trend. First, get your old-school style on with a lightweight turtleneck. When pairing one of these with jeans, a skirt or under a blazer, you can't lose.
You want to stay true to your style no matter what because there's nothing better than wearing what makes you feel great. This fall, don't be afraid to mix it up. For example, pair patent leather pants with a hoodie. Being able to pull off an unusual pairing is always fun to do. Pair up your favorite looks of the past but put a new spin on it. Have fun with dresses and pants again or long sleeve shirts under strappy dresses.
On to a trend alert. Stay in your cropped jeans this fall because not only are these the best jeans to show off your shoes, they're also the number one trend that's the easiest to transform into many looks for any occasion.
Also, know what look fits your frame. Keep it simple with a tight shirt and loose jeans or tight jeans and a loose shirt, then accessorize. For your cover-up, add a bomber jacket to make your femme look a little funkier.
In makeup, it’s all about metallics. Try on silver eyeshadow. Another makeup trend going this fall is bright eyeliners. Try on bright reds and blues for a little more edge. Last, but not least, is florals for fall so don’t be afraid to bloom with accessories, floral jackets and more.
