Meetings watch: Clovis City Commission

CLOVIS — The Clovis city commission will be asked to approve a 2019-2023 Infrastructure Capital Improvements Plan when it meets at 5:15 p.m. today at the Clovis-Carver Public Library North Annex.

Other items on the agenda:

• Proclamation of Sunday as “Bikers Against Bullying Day,” with pending approval to hold the Fifth Annual Bully Awareness Ride at 3:30 p.m. that day.

• Request for approval of a police escort for a “Labor Day March in Support of Dairy Workers’ Rights,” 6-8 p.m. Sept. 4 down Main Street.

• Request for approval of the Desert Cruisers’ annual “Run to Hillcrest” car show Sept. 9.

• Request for approval of street closure Oct. 7 for Domestic Violence Month “Take Back the Night” walk scheduled 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. between 900 Main St. and Greene Acres Park.
