Man shot in Portales

PORTALES — A Portales man was hospitalized after being shot Thursday morning.

Lucas Short, 37, of Portales was shot in the chest about 1 a.m. Thursday in the parking lot of Dollar General, according to Portales Police Officer Charlie Smart.
