PORTALES — Leslie Campuzano scored two goals in the first 10 minutes, and No. 11 Texas A&M-Commerce didn't need much else en route to dispatching Eastern New Mexico 4-0 Friday evening at Greyhound Stadium.
Sabrina Muguia scored unassisted in the second half, and Katie Givens had a goal and assist as the Lions (4-0-2, 1-0) stayed undefeated and took the Lone Star Conference opener for both teams.
Campuzano got the scoring under way just 4:25 in, when she got a breakaway off a Given feed and put it by ENMU goalkeeper Alejandra Camarillo.
She struck again just over five minutes later, taking a pass from Jessika Coronado and scoring o a left-side shot from 35 yards out.
The visiting Lions outshot ENMU 12-5, including an 8-2 advantage in shots on goal, and enjoyed a 7-1 advantage in corner kicks.
