NMAA announces sportsmanship honorees

ALBUQUERQUE — The NMAA Subway Director’s Cup winners were announced Monday afternoon on the New Mexico Activities Association Facebook page.

The Subway Director’s Cup is awarded annually to the top New Mexico Activities member schools in each classification and are awarded based on success in activities, athletics, and Sportsmanship that are gained through points in each categories.

Here are the 2016/17 winners in each classification.

5A:

1st. Albuquerque Academy, 2nd. Los Alamos, 3rd. Artesia

4A:

1st. Hope Christian, 2nd. St. Michael’s, 3rd. Silver

3A:

1st. Pecos, 1st. Texico, 2nd. Santa Fe Prep, 3rd. Dexter

2A:

1st. Lordsburg, 2nd. Mesilla Valley Christian, 3rd. Hagerman
