Old fur hot for cold season

Are you getting cold yet? We're approaching coat season quickly and in case you're undecided on what cozy looks you'll be displaying this year, here are a few coats and jackets trending and growing in popularity this fashion season.

First is the puffer jacket that you’ve probably noticed falling off the shoulder of your favorite household names since last season. Well, the puffer jacket made it another season. Not only are you guaranteed warmth when sporting this jacket but if you're a fan you're in luck because it can be found in just about every department store in every price range. Plus you can go for a slimmer look in case the super thick puffer is not your thing. Levi's has their Nylon puffer jacket for $98.

A helpful hint for what styles to look for are deconstructed looks. Your coat should be a little slouchy with great fabric and to the knee or longer. Anything preppy and body-fitted is out.

Of course, there's nothing more magnificent and charming than a fur coat. Fur coats have been extremely popular for long years and they're not slowing down this fall. Real or fake, long or short, fur coats are the most fun to dress up in this winter. Although most may reserve their furs for the more elegant, strict and classical occasion, fashion has made a turn with the fur idea.

There is a style and color for all, for any occasion and for frequent use. Designers offer extraordinary colors of aquamarine, emerald, brick and red tree colors or you can keep it simple with natural colors. If you have an old fur you've been contemplating wearing, now is the time. Because in 2017, the fur trend is going back to the basics with inspiration from classic vintage-inspired looks like they're fresh out of an estate sale.
