CLAREMORE, Okla. — Playing its second game in as many days, Eastern New Mexico again couldn’t find the back of the net, falling 5-0 at Rogers State in Saturday’s Heartland Conference men’s soccer match.
Pedro Garcia scored two goals for the Hillcats (6-5-1, 3-4-1). which outshot the Greyhounds 28-5 and 11-3 on goal.
Rogers State also got goals from Abe Young, Jaxon Pitt and Jeremy Hoelzer. Young’s goal at the 25:56 mark was the only tally of the first half.
Chivasiay Gallagher led the Hounds (2-9-1, 1-7) with two shots on goal, while Robert Leonard had one.
The Greyhounds will visit Dallas Baptist next Thursday for a Heartland Conference matchup scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. MDT.
