Serving Clovis, Portales and the Surrounding Communities
PORTALES — Today's 9 a.m. Roosevelt County Commission Meeting will be focused on housekeeping, with several reports and procurement items being heard.
Among the items is a request to create new accounts for equipment purchases below $5,000.
The action will fund purchases through their own accounts, rather than through the capital assets fund, according to County Manager Amber Hamilton.
"It's just an accounting cleanup. There's a zero impact to the budget," she said.
Also at today's meeting:
• The approval of accounts payable and payroll.
• A request for contract renewal with Trinity Services Group for Food Services at the Roosevelt County Detention Center.
• A request for contract renewal for chip seal aggregate with K. Barnett and Sons.
• A request for renewal of a lease with Pitney Bowes for a postage machine.
• Consideration of a request for proposal for banking services with James Polk Stone Community Bank.
• Consideration of a request for proposal for commissary services at RCDC with Keefe Commissary Network.
