Serving Clovis, Portales and the Surrounding Communities
Today’s family in need: This young couple is expecting their second child.
The father is still a minor, “so finding employment is almost impossible,” according to Salvation Army Corps Officer Lt. Kelly Berggren.
“They are good parents who regularly attend church. They came to The Salvation Army seeking help.”
The couple plans to be married as soon as the father turns 18.
“The employment situation should change at that time also,” Berggren said. “They are just asking for help this Christmas for their 2-year-old daughter.”
