Clovis will host an economic development conference today through Thursday that is intended to bring business professionals from across the state.
The Clovis Industrial Development Corp. and the Clovis/Curry County Chamber of Commerce will co-host the New Mexico IDEA Statewide Economic Development Conference at the Clovis Civic Center, according to a press release from the chamber.
“Economic developers from around the state will receive professional development and training opportunities, including seminars from the New Mexico Partnership and Social Media Marketing,” the release said.
New Mexico Speaker of the House Brian Egolf and members of the New Mexico House of Representatives will host a job creation listening tour from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. today at the Clovis Civic Center as part of the conference, according to the release.
