CCC board to vote on budget adjustments

CLOVIS — The Clovis Community College Board of Trustees is scheduled to vote on budget adjustments for fiscal year 2018 at its regular meeting today.

Administrative Assistant to the President Beverly Aragon said the board regularly makes adjustments to the budget around this time each year.

Aragon said the adjustments will include changes to the budget for the following items: completion of the demolition of barracks, the information technology project to upgrade the administration system, continued renovation of the Petty Performing Arts Center, plant projects including library roof replacement and grounds storage building replacement, grant revenue and associated expense adjustments based on funding letters.

Also on the agenda for today’s 8 a.m. meeting in room 512 on CCC’s campus at 417 Schepps Blvd:

• The board will vote on a contract with Nick Griego and Sons Inc. to provide finishing work to the Petty Performing Arts Center lobby and reception including painting, carpet, ceiling tiles and doors.

Aragon said the contract is for $149,949.

• The board will vote on the fall 2017 graduation list. Aragon said 303 students are expected to earn an associates degree, a certificate of completion or a certificate of achievement in the fall 2017 semester.

• The board will vote on the contract and lease purchase agreement for the energy performance contract the board previously approved to move forward.
