Roosevelt officials to inspect detention center

PORTALES - Roosevelt County commissioners are scheduled for their annual walkthrough and inspection of the county's detention center when they meet today.

Also on the agenda:

• Biannual update on the Roosevelt County Extension Office.

• Portales MainStreet's annual update.

• Requests for approval of the EMS Fund Act application for the Milnesand Volunteer Fire Department and the Arch Volunteer Fire Department.

• Consideration of the revised emergency management services transfer fee schedule.

• Consideration of adoption of Roosevelt County's Americans with Disabilities Act transition plan.

• A request for approval of a grant agreement with the New Mexico Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management for disaster assistance.
